That field experience drove us to develop RaRTool RJ45x12— a professional, molded tool designed to keep patch cords organized during hardware changes, helping teams work faster with less manual effort and fewer mistakes.
Originally prototyped using 3D printing, the final version of RaRTool RJ45x12 is produced using a molding process to achieve a smooth surface for fast, consistent plug and unplug during real cutovers.
How it works
Step 1: Label the RaRTool
Apply a label to the top of the RaRTool to clearly identify port orientation when the tool is flipped or moved.
Step 2: Transfer patch cords
Unplug the switch and move the patch cords into the RaRTool, keeping the same port order.
Step 3: Replace and reconnect
Swap the hardware, then move the patch cords from the RaRTool to the new switch — fast, clean, and in order.
Result: Faster cutovers with fewer mistakes and minimal downtime.
